COMMEMORATIONS for Women’s Month kick off on a high note this week on the arts and entertainment scene with the Playhouse Company’s 16th annual South African Women’s Arts Festival (Sawaf).

This year’s festival comprises drama, poetry, dance and music, with a key aspect being to encourage dialogue on issues relating to the contemporary South African woman.
